The Black Needle has excellent range and attack speed, using many sweeping attacks that can cleave through multiple enemies. It is the only melee weapon in Mortal Shell 2 that can be infused with Phantom.

Can be infused with: Poison, Phantom (Status Effects). Higher Shell Revive Efficiency means faster progress toward reviving a reclaimable Shell mid-fight when you land hits with this weapon.

Forge Upgrades

You can upgrade weapons and sidearms at the Tarforge with Franz in Marrow Keep. Each upgrade raises the forge level by 1 and increases damage.

Feed Endless Core to the Tarforge to remove the +20 cap and keep upgrading through +25.

This weapon starts at +6 when you find it. The first upgrade you pay for is +7.
